BioI am starting this LJ to document my experiments with eating locally while living in NYC, working and raising my daughter. I have been a vegetarian in the past, but have been eating meat and dairy since getting pregnant almost two years ago. I am interested in both vegetarian and vegan diets, but mostly in healthful nutrition, eating locally to support the local economy and minimize environmental impact, and in various aspects of the "green" lifestyle
